🥥🌴 One of my favorite local spots in Indian Rocks Beach! 🌴🥥 If you’re local, you already know about Kooky Coconut… and if you’re visiting IRB, this is one you definitely need to try! 😋 I’ve been here many, many times over the years, and it never disappoints. We recently had the Tampa Cuban, Chicken Pesto Cuban, tacos and ice cream and everything was SO good! 🤤 It’s one of those casual, laid back beach spots that I always enjoy. Nothing fancy, just good food, good vibes and that classic Indian Rocks Beach feel. 🌴☀️ As a local, I’m always happy to recommend places I actually go back to myself and Kooky Coconut is definitely one of them! ❤️ If you’re coming to Indian Rocks Beach, put this one on your list! 🥥🌊

It is a very nice place to grab some ice cream or other food right next to public beach access in Indian Rocks Beach. The service staff all three times that we stopped were pleasant and accommodated our grandson's peanut allergy. Prices are very reasonable. I wish that I could have tried their Cuban sandwich. Friends told me it's the best in the area. Next time, I will.

Kooky Coconut is the ultimate beachside shack and an absolute must-visit spot in IRB! Located just steps from the 8th Avenue beach access, it’s the perfect place to grab a bite before or after hitting the sand. Their hot-pressed Tampa Cuban sandwich is legendary—stacked with perfectly seasoned pork, ham, salami, and Swiss on fresh, crispy Cuban bread. On top of that, they have an awesome selection of local ice cream with tons of flavors, plus great burritos and fresh tacos. The bamboo outdoor seating gives it a classic, relaxed Florida vibe, and the staff is always fast and incredibly friendly. It's a local treasure!

Kooky Coconut is easily one of the best food spots around. Their cheeseburgers and milkshakes are on another level. Everything tastes fresh, loaded with flavor, and actually made with care instead of feeling like some frozen drive-thru science experiment. 🍔🥤 I usually get the Kahlúa Chip shake and it is ridiculously good. Thick, creamy, perfectly blended, and honestly one of the best milkshakes I’ve ever had. It should probably come with a warning label because once you try it, every other shake starts tasting disappointing. 😂 The cheeseburgers are just as good too. Cooked perfectly, juicy, packed with flavor, and paired with the shakes it’s basically the ultimate combo. Best part is the prices are actually reasonable, which feels rare nowadays when some places charge $20 for a burger and act like they hand-crafted it on top of a mountain somewhere. Awesome food, great atmosphere, and always a solid experience every time I go. Definitely one of my favorite spots around IRB.

I stumbled upon this little gem while on vacation in the Tampa area and it did not disappoint! I grabbed some ice cream and a fresh coconut, and both were absolutely refreshing and delicious. The ice cream was creamy, flavorful, and perfect for the warm weather, while the fresh coconut was naturally sweet and hydrating exactly what I needed on a sunny day. The spot has a relaxed, friendly vibe, making it perfect for a quick treat while exploring the area. Definitely a must-visit if you’re in Tampa and craving something sweet and refreshing!
