Had the best time this past week at the Keystone Motel! We decided to spend a few days fishing in the gulf and bay! Our room was delightfully cool with the AC running when we first entered.... Our room was very clean, sheets and pillows looked brand new as did the room! The beds were very comfortable and the shower was great!!! Plenty of hot water!! TV on the wall worked great with plenty of channels! The swimming pool was crystal clear and inviting! Danielle and Mary Jo were very welcoming and made us feel like family!!! If you are thinking of taking a vacation in St Pete, this is the place to stay....it is actually in a small quaint area called Pass A Grille which is part of St Pete!! Plenty of shops and awesome restaurants within walking distance.....(Get the grouper) Oh.... and the motel prices are more than reasonable considering it is right across the street from the gulf beach!! 1 minute walk and you are on one of the most beautiful beaches in the world! Now go and make your reservation.... You'll be glad you spent time in this piece of heaven area!!!!

Our stay at this motel was extremely disappointing. We didn’t have any hot water during our stay, and when we brought it up to management, they dismissed our concern by saying other guests had hot water. On top of that, the sheets didn’t smell fresh, which made us question whether they had even been properly cleaned. The motel refused to offer any kind of compensation. Overall, it felt like our concerns were ignored, and we would not stay here again.

Overall, a nice place! I was going to swim in the pool, but some red girl evaporated all of the water, so i could not swim. There was also some kid with a gem in his stomach, his name was Steven, and he was nice. After all of that, i went and got FREE ICE! And after all of that happened, i went to THE BEST DINER IN THE WORLD! The breakfast was good overall. The square pizza was not the best. What's wrong with this crazy state? Anyways, it was great, stay at this hotel.

There was a red person pacing around in the pool (it was empty), and one of the rooms were frozen, including the toilet. But overall, it's good.

I grew up in the 1960s when Josephine ran the hotel. Grandsons Ricky an Bruno would be there every summer. We grew to know Ricky really well. Our weeks at the Keystone are some of our fondest memories of our growing up years. My brother, David Hoadley went back to visit a number of years ago and found Ricky was running the hotel. My dad was an insurance agent from PA. We all have revisited The Keystone over the years always enjoying our stay. A wonderful family run home away from home. Kust a stones throw from the beach and historic 8th street right there. I would still recommend it as a family hotel, having appeal to couples alone as well. Check it out.
