Jimmy's Fish House & Iguana Bar

We were honestly blown away by how fantastic Jimmy's Fish House was. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. The oysters were very fresh. The flatbread was crunchy, and the tomatoes were so juicy! The key west pink shrimp were definitely on point. The star of the show was their clam chowder. We were blown away by how flavorful it was, especially in a world full of bland chowder. Absolutely amazing! Their virgin drinks were also very good. The service was lovely and our waiter was very attentive. The view was stunning. Great atmosphere and definitely our new favorite place to bring visiting friends and family!

It was our first time here and I will not be back. We ordered 2 of the "parmesan crusted snapper" let me start of by saying there was NO parmesan on that fish. The food was really bad. The fish was bland, it tasted like boiled fish with melted cheap mozzarella on top. And on top of that it was COLD. I was not even going to say anything to the server because I was so hungry, but after 2 bites I started to feel nauseous. And I had to stop eating. The other person didn't like their fish either so they didn't eat it either. You would expect a good meal after paying almost $30 for it, but It was gross. The other people ordered burgers and it came with cole slaw which was Slimy. We didn't even say anything about that. it was a terrible experience 🤢 To be fair, the server was kind and helpful. The manager came to the table to ask about the issue and offered to get me something else instead but I could not stomach anything else from there. She did get me a $15 off for the issue.

Amazing atmosphere. Views unlike any other. DELICIOUS food. Chris, my server, was incredible. Recommend amazing dishes and was just friendly and the best. I came here for dinner on a work trip when I had a day off and I can't wait to come back on a vacation. I'll come eat here again and again. Don't skip this place, especially at sunset... get your sunset shot and enjoy the view!

Went there this past Saturday with my fiancé April 4 Saturday afternoon around three 4 o’clock in the afternoon I put the date and times now because some owners wanted to dispute that they ever get bad service at their business so I now give date and times when they wanted to dispute their service. We were staying at the hotel across the way and decided to go down and try something different for an afternoon Breaking the sun and quick bite to eat. We weren’t there but two minutes before we were asked if we wanted to sit inside or out we chose to sit outside and the gentleman that walked us to our table was telling us about Georgina the lovely bird that was up on the docs which made for even a more delightful experience. We ended up getting the chicken quesadilla and a huge thing of nachos. Very nice. I can honestly say they come around to the table to ask if you want anything more often than any place I’ve ever been it was hot outside so I didn’t feel like putting back any stiff drinks. I will give the server credit. He did a great job constantly coming around. I just didn’t need to be asked if I wanted any alcohol alcoholic drink drinks every five minutes lol Needless to say, the atmosphere was great we were there for a while before the musician came up to play. Nachos were amazing. Food was hot fresh porch portion appropriately and it was just an overall good experience. After having a nightmare experience at hurricane Eddie’s and Coco‘s, it was refreshing to find a really good place to enjoy!

Gave this place two chances, ordered to-go, granted at 9pm apparently the “hostesss was new” claimed the manager, we got tired of waiting and since no one would answer the phone we went down at 10, waited for them to get it ready, it was edible but not great - got the crab dip and the Walmart neighborhood market dip is way better! Went back for supper, twice as many staff working as patrons, didn’t take too long for the food to come out. Had high hopes for the snapper and the salmon, both presented well, but had ZERO flavor. Only logical conclusion is it comes to them precooked and they heat it. The fish was tough and dry, the broccoli was bland and without salt and butter the red potatoes were all just reheats as well. Maybe their drinks are better, had the staff either time been somewhat personable I would have still tipped really well as I typically do but when I was honest and just said it was “okay”, waiter got defensive and said “it just comes that way there’s really nothing we can do about it”…apparently I’m not the only one….dont waste your money if you’re looking to fix a “good” seafood craving!
