Island Ferry

We had the BEST time on this snorkel cruise! Captain Dave shared all kinds of fun facts about the houses and geography of the area and guided us safely around. Samantha was super personable and we were excited to have her share her passion about the ecosystem and creatures that we found. The snorkel gear and experience was great. We didn’t see many fish that day, but found super cool shells, sand dollars, a starfish, a sea snail, crabs, a manatee…. Then on the way back we were able to observe a mother and baby dolphin. They hung around for quite awhile, and Samantha got some amazing videos she later shared with us (we were too busy oooing and ahhhing to get our cameras out.). Had some ice cold drinks, chilled on the boat and in the water, explored, hands down 10/10 experience. Can’t wait to go back and do it again!

Had a great time with captain Noel. We had my 90 year old mother who uses scooter and walker and with assistance she was able to board and enjoy the sunset cruise. We even took our pup along with a private tour. The sunset put on a spectacular show and saw dolphins and birds. Captain Noel pointed out all the fun facts on who owns which houses and boats. Would recommend for a fun night.

Noel did a fabulous job hosting us on our Island Ferry day. He was very informative of the area and took us to an amazing sandbar where we snorkeled and got to see multiple types of ocean life. He would give us heads up when we were approaching dolphins. Manatee, sharks and cow nose rays. He even helped us find sand dollars and crabs as well as conch. It was the best day and a favorite of all the years we have traveled to St Pete. We will definitely book again next year.

Our 2-hour Dolphin Cruise with snorkeling to Shell Key was an unforgettable experience! Captain Noel was awesome—extremely knowledgeable about marine biology and made the entire trip both fun and educational. We were lucky enough to see a stingray and even some large manatees up close. One of the highlights was watching the dolphins interact alongside the boat—it felt like they were putting on a show just for us! Shell Key Island and Fort DeSoto Beach were absolutely beautiful. We had time to walk along the shore searching for unique shells and even enjoyed some snorkeling in the clear water. We absolutely recommend this cruise to anyone looking for a memorable adventure on the water. We’re already planning another trip—this time bringing the whole family—and you can bet we’ll be booking again. Thanks again, Captain Noel!

We had an amazing experience with Island Ferry! Captain Noel was very interactive with our kids - jumped in and snorkeled with us, helped look for shells and showed us some neat sea creatures. Overall an experience to remember and we would definitely recommend!
