Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach Resort and Suites

When you plan a trip for your family in an area you aren’t familiar with, you want some place safe, clean, accommodating, a home away from home. This place goes above and beyond that. We had the most wonderful time celebrating my son’s birthday. The resort is absolutely gorgeous, and the staff is the best we’ve experienced. Karen did such a wonderful job making us feel welcome and helping us navigate all of the wonderful amenities this resort has to offer. Doug was fantastic, he helped us get to our room and back to our car with all of our things and made it so easy! Scott went above and beyond ensuring we had a vacation we wouldn’t soon forget! Jordan made sure our room needs were met and we felt right at home. On the last evening of our stay the staff surprised us with dessert and a sweet card so we could sing happy birthday to our son in our room. So touching! Thank you to our Hyatt family for ensuring that our trip was amazing and giving us a place to call home when we come back!

The Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach Resort and Spa was an excellent place to stay for our vacation in Clearwater. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. The room was very spacious and comfortable, and having a full kitchen was a huge bonus. It made it easy to prepare snacks and meals during our stay and added a lot of convenience. One of the best parts of the hotel was the balcony view overlooking the ocean. We were able to watch an amazing sunset every single evening, and the views never got old. The location is perfect because it’s just an easy walk across the street to the beach, so getting to the sand and water took only a couple of minutes. The hotel amenities were also fantastic. The large pool area was clean and relaxing, and there was even a nice playroom for children to burn off energy, which families would definitely appreciate. We also loved having a Starbucks right on site for quick coffee runs in the morning. The restaurant at the hotel was excellent as well, with great food and a fun atmosphere. Another highlight was being able to watch the fireworks at the pier during our stay, which made the evenings even more memorable. The only downside was that parking was a little pricey, but overall the experience was absolutely worth it. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Clearwater Beach.

We had an exceptional experience at the Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach. I had stayed at the property previously and experienced an issue that I brought to management's attention. What impressed me most about this visit was how seriously the team took that feedback and how far they went to make our return stay outstanding. More importantly, the service was fantastic. Ernesto and his team made us feel genuinely valued, and Scott and Jamie personally followed up with us throughout our stay to make sure everything was going well. That kind of attention and hospitality is what separates a good hotel experience from a memorable one. The property is beautiful, the location is fantastic, but the people are what really stood out. I travel to Clearwater regularly for business, and after this experience, the Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach will absolutely be at the top of my list as a home base for future stays. Thank you to Ernesto, Scott, Jamie, and the entire team for an awesome stay. You turned a previous disappointment into an experience that earned our business and loyalty. Well done!

Just had a really great 4 night stay here with a toddler and his elderly grandparents. The service and attitude were great. Pool is a tad chilly. Beach is excellent. Love how you can rent cabanas at an affordable price directly on the beach and charge to the room. We rented scooters for the older folks and they zipped to the aquarium and many restaurants. The boardwalk is also great. Happy to come back again. Restaurant was great. They were responsive with a minor ac issue and you can tell that they work to keep this hotel in good shape.

Had a great stay at the Hyatt Regency Clearwater Beach! The service was outstanding — everyone was super friendly, especially Beth. Spacious room, killer west-facing sunsets, and excellent food (that BLT and burrata were fantastic). Perfect walkable location too. A few quirks: not on the beach, it’s across the street but with direct and easy access but the public beach can get crowded. Like....5+ rows deep. Housekeeping loved showing up at 5pm while we were getting ready for dinner, and they don’t use fitted sheets or full size pillows on the king bed...so, our feet kept making direct contact with the mattress pad. Not ideal. Price was right and we still had a wonderful time. Highly recommend just bring your own fitted sheet and pillow.
