Hyatt Place St. Petersburg Downtown

Centrally located in downtown St Petersburg seconds to the theatre, museums, parks, sports bars, great food and the water. It is a lovely property with spacious rooms. I was promptly greeted with a bright warm smile from Perry. He was extremely knowledgeable of the property and the surrounding area. He gave great advice and options. He is an excellent example of how employees should interact with the guests. You guys have a great gem, I hope he is recognized for going above and beyond . When interacting with other employees I was told to literally walk out side . I will find what I am looking for.

Stayed the week of June 8th. Ms. Neysa at the front desk is a wonderful person! She solved a minor issue for us with kindness and professionalism. The hotel is very nice and the room was clean and comfortable. Located downtown and close to many bars and restaurants. Note: The side of the hotel facing the bars & clubs (city view) can be a bit loud at night. You can hear the music in those rooms. We would stay again.

Top floor room had vibration noise that fluctuates constantly, this is a low tone noise that kept me up for the nights I was there. Hotel was apparently booked up and no other to be moved to. No compensation provided just a pair of ear plugs that they have available at the front desk. Other than that expect a decent stay in a very accessible location to the docks, great food and entertainment. There are plenty of other places to stay in the same area. Parking at the hotel was a little pricey but worth the security it provided.

From the moment we checked in we knew we were going to have a wonderful stay. The receptionist, Neesa was extremely friendly and professional. She quickly assigned our room and gave us information needed. Our room was a corner room on the 11th floor and it was one of the largest hotel rooms I've ever had. I loved that our living area was completely separated from the entrance by a hallway. The pullout sofa/sectional was very comfortable and a good place for us to work when needed. It was separated from the king sized bed by a small partition. The room was very clean and had a small coffee maker available but we just got ours from the lobby with breakfast. Breakfast was free and had great options for gluten-free needs. The hotel itself was only about 2 blocks from the water. A quick 15 minute walk to the Dali museum and on Saturday there was an outdoor market. If you like to party, all the clubs seemed to be located across the street but the traffic wasn't too bad when we came back that evening. In our room we couldn't hear any outside noise and with the blackout shade we could block out the lights as well. The gym (5th floor)was decent with hood options and had a wall of windows that looked out on the city. There were towels, water and earbuds available for guests to use. The pool (7th) was warmed and though it wasn't large it did have plenty of chairs surrounding it. It seemed good for families with small kids. Overall, this was an exceptional experience.

Hotel location was perfect for our Bach trip! Everything in walking distance, but what made this hotel 10000/10 experience was ALAN! He is the kindest sweetest man. Always went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed! Alan is such a great addition to the Hyatt and I hope they truly know and appreciate him as a person and employee! ALAN ALAN ALAN!!
