Holiday Inn Express Clearwater East ICOT Center

My wife, two daughters, and I stayed here for one night after flying into St. Pete-Clearwater Airport, and it was the perfect place to start our vacation. The location is incredibly convenient to the airport, making for an easy arrival after a day of travel. From the moment we checked in, the staff made us feel welcome. The front desk associate was friendly, acknowledged our IHG Rewards status, and even provided a generous welcome bag with water and snacks that our girls absolutely loved. Our first-floor room was clean, comfortable, and had direct access to the pool through a patio door and secure gate. That feature alone was a huge hit with the kids and made it easy for us to enjoy some family time without having to walk through the hotel each trip. One of my favorite touches was the fresh coffee available around the clock. It was great to be able to grab a quality cup whenever I wanted. The service really stood out on the morning of our checkout. Since our next hotel in Clearwater Beach didn’t have check-in until later in the afternoon, I asked the front desk if a late checkout might be possible so we could spend a little more time at the pool and shower before leaving. The manager immediately said it was no problem and happily extended our checkout until 1:00 PM without hesitation. I would absolutely recommend this hotel, especially for families with children or anyone who appreciates genuinely friendly and accommodating staff. We had a wonderful experience and would gladly stay here again.

this was not our first hotel. our first hotel had overbooked us and at midnight we were left scrambling to find a room. we called, and immediatly were helped out upon arrival Cali treated us like family and she really assisted us with the room and saved our night. in the morning, we had asked the staff if we could extend our check out time, and even with a fully booked hotel they were able to accommodate for us. Rooms were clean, not a single stain or odd smell! i would highly recommend this location!

I am a frequent traveller who stays a lot of nights a year at hotels, across 3 major chains, IHG being one of them. So I know what to expect from a hotel like this. 👆🏼 I LOVED this hotel. 💙Jessica at the front desk was courteous and helpful, from the moment I arrived. The rooms are among the CLEANEST I’ve ever seen at a hotel this category/level. I couldn’t find a single hair or bit of dirt, which was simply incredible. The housekeeping team needs praise. ⭐️ The bed was very comfortable, AC units were new and quiet, rooms were quiet (soundproofing between rooms is adequate), and the location of the hotel itself is excellent, centrally located for most of the Tampa bay region. All in all, I would gladly stay here again, in the future. 👍🏼

Everything was perfect from greeting to goodbye. The entire property, from the lobby to the guest rooms, was very clean and well-maintained. A special shout-out to the evening host for being so accommodating and friendly, and to Jessica for the warm welcome during checkout. These two are the mold for bringing back true hospitality. It’s rare to find this level of care these days. Keep up the great work and God bless!

The only advantage of this hotel is they have coffee and tea with hot water always available outside in the entrance. Otherwise....worst place to stay...we stayed here 4 nights..... One of the days they forgot to clean our room. We returned around 4pm and room wasn't cleaned although it was due with clear sign outside door. On top it there was a horrendous stench of weed as it was infused inside of the air conditioner and then the kind person at the reception helped us change our room ... Another worst problem is breakfast service. Pancake machine was always out of order. It never worked durkng my entire stay. although breakfast is until 9.30am nothing gets refilled...an old woman is the only staff here and she's always rude and does not refill anything literally...she snaps at people if we ask.. All these pics were taken before 9am on all 4 days I stayed
