Habana Cafe

In town for two days. I grew up in Ft Lauderdale in the 60s thru 80s. My experiences with the Cuban community has always been wonderful from their music, community, and especially their food. Tonight I wanted a simple dinner. I found Havana Cafe’ to be all I hoped it to be. The decor was very nice and relaxing. The atmosphere full of life and the music was sublime. I wanted the old fashioned Cuban sandwich and plantains. If you can’t get this right then don’t waste your money on the rest. I was delighted to find again it was what I was looking for. Great flat Cuban bread pressed and perfectly crisp. The portions were generous and seasoned deliciously. The plantains were perfectly caramelized and not too soft. So I will be back next time I am in town. ENJOY!!!!

No question—you MUST come here! The food was delicious, and the service was amazing. Nick was super nice and recommended some great dishes. Highly recommend this place! Me & husband even switched plates to try each other plates, so delicious!!

I can’t say enough good things. Plantain crusted fish???? A gluten free wet dream. Loved the service, SO friendly. Tostones on the menu and the sangria was yummy. Favorite Cuba spot in fl so far.

Great Cuban sandwich! Get the #4 pork added and mojo sauce. Also Sangria is amazing. Nice spot in Gulfport. Parking could be better.

The restaurant itself is beautiful inside and out. Our waitress was very kind. Food was good.
