We went to Flanagan’s in Dunedin during the Mardi Gras crowd, and I’ve got to say we were really impressed. The food was good across the board, the beverages were nice and cold (which definitely hit the spot with that crowd), and everything came out in a timely manner. Mandy was very attentive and handled the busy atmosphere like a pro—she kept checking in without hovering and made sure we had everything we needed.

Small, dimly lit Irish pub that seemed very popular with the locals. Limited but adequate seating and an eclectic mix of music. The service was a bit slow as the bartender was the server as well. But he was nice. The Guinness is served tall foamy and dark (as is proper). I had the Fish and Chips. The fish was crispy and flavorful, but portions of the fish were a tad mushy. However, the steak fries were awesome - tender crispy outside, soft inside, salted just right. Suggest to lightly dip these in tartar sauce We also had The Flanagan sandwich. This had tasty corned beef complimented with slaw and pickles. Served on a yummy pretzel bun. If you’re looking for some good Irish fare, this might be the place.

I took my adult son (with special needs) to Flanagan’s Irish Pub for lunch, and it turned into such a memorable experience. He wanted to try beer for the first time, and our server, Kelly, was absolutely wonderful. She took the time to ask him questions about what flavors he might enjoy and even brought out two samples for him to try. That patience and kindness meant so much to us. We started with the poutine appetizer, and the ribeye with gravy was delicious. My son ordered the Shepherd’s Pie and really enjoyed it. I had the Irish potato salad with grilled chicken, and it was excellent — I especially loved the dressing, the apple pieces, and the candied walnuts. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. It wasn’t overly busy, but you could tell they have a lot of loyal regulars. The best part of the visit was seeing how comfortable and happy my son felt. He loved the experience so much that he gave Kelly a hug before we left — and he’s not someone who freely gives hugs. That alone says everything about how special she made our visit. Excellent food, excellent service, and an experience we’ll always remember.

Had an awesome time at Flanigan’s in Dunedin, Florida! The food, drinks, and atmosphere were all top notch. The music scene and song rotation were absolutely perfect and kept the vibe going all night. Huge shoutout to the bartender for sharing their own custom mix with us — we loved it and it made the experience even better. Definitely a spot we’ll be coming back to!

Visited again today. 3/26. Had the shepards pie again with cheddar. Great, as usual. Had a beer and diet soda as I usually do. I wish they had a short beer as a pint is too much for me and ask not to fill the pint all the way. I sit in the front window and watch life pass by. It is very relaxing and peaceful. My waitress was Loren. She was upbeat, friendly and helpful. I shall return.... Irish pub. Great Shepard's pie. Attentive and friendly staff. Pet friendly village.
