Tucked inside The Vinoy – one of St. Pete’s most glamorous waterfront hotels – Elliott Aster’s striking lounge and dining room are the perfect backdrop for equally stunning wood-fired steaks, freshly caught seafood, housemade pastas and a signature antipasti bar. Offerings like charred eggplant and Insalata di Mare with pink shrimp, octopus and lemon are accompanied by an ever-changing array of salumi served with piparras, apricot mostarda and focaccia.
On Elliott Aster’s pasta menu, you’ll find creative options like braised duck pappardelle with pecorina and salted black peppercorns; lobster spaghetti with fava beans, lemon and tarragon; beef cheek tortelli with aged balsamic and parmesan; tagliatelle bolognese with Sicilian oregano; and corn and ricotta cestini with earthy chantrelles.
Entrees could include local red grouper, Mediterranean sea bream, lacquered brick chicken and grilled rack of lamb, plus an all-star lineup of Wagyu and Prime steaks from the grill, which you can have topped with bearnaise, bordelaise or black truffle butter.
An impressive selection of wines, specialty cocktails and desserts will help accompany – or cap off – a meal to remember.
Those dishes are crafted by renowned Chef Lee Wolen, who honed his skills in Europe, New York and Chicago before joining Boka Restaurant Group, a partner in Elliott Aster that manages more than two dozen highly rated restaurants nationwide.
Elliott Aster is open for drinks and dinner Tuesday through Sunday, with a popular brunch menu available Saturday and Sunday. With a stunning waterfront patio, an elegant lounge and dining room, a warm and welcoming dining experience awaits.

My husband and I celebrated our 1 year wedding anniversary at Elliott Aster, and it was an absolutely unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, everything felt special. The restaurant is stunningly beautiful, with an elegant, romantic atmosphere. Paula was our server, and she was phenomenal!!! She was fun, knowledgeable, and gave excellent recommendations throughout the night. Her energy made the experience even more enjoyable! The food was incredible, and everything was timed perfectly from start to finish. The pull-apart bread was completely out of this world and a must-order. The filet with mushrooms was cooked perfectly and absolutely delicious, and the beef cheek pasta was rich, flavorful, and unforgettable. We wanted something lighter for dessert, and the pistachio gelato was the perfect choice. It was fresh, creamy, and the perfect ending to an amazing meal. Thank you to Paula for making our anniversary so special. We can’t wait to come back!
The restaurant is gorgeous, taking you back to when it was the original dining hall for the hotel back in the 1920s. The service was so warm and professional. Our server Michael made our dinner perfect with amazing recommendations. From the focaccia to the olive oil cake, we loved everything we tried. Wonderful flavor combinations, along with a fairly wide range of options, so it works if you’re going with a group. Also perfect for a special occasion. It was spring break, but we got the sense the restaurant was busy all the time. So as soon as you decide you want to go, check for a reservation. They fill up quickly.
The experience was great. It took half an hour past our reservation to be seated, but once seated, service was top-notch! Present, helpful, and upbeat. Thank you Andrew and happy birthday to you. Food was fine. Classy dine in food. The bread is a must have going off other reviews, but it is a bit too filling. Seafood items were meh. Maybe we should have ordered something different. Interior is beautiful and well kept. Great spot for occasions. Thank you!
Dined at Aster & Elliott located inside The Vinoy Resort & Golf Club and had a great experience. We started with an espresso martini, well balanced and delicious. The signature bread was a standout: crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy inside, topped with butter and parmesan. For my entrée, I had the filet with a side of mashed potatoes, both were excellent and cooked perfectly. Overall, a great meal in a beautiful setting. Would definitely return.
We celebrated our 5th anniversary at Elliot Aster and it was the perfect place for a special night. 🎉🥂✨ We kicked things off with cocktails, and I have to say the espresso martini might be the best I’ve ever had. ☕🍸 My husband also had a cocktail the server recommended and it was excellent. 🍹 The meatballs are an absolute must. They were so good I ended up ordering some to go because I already missed them. Seriously amazing. 🍝🔥 We started with the artichoke dip and mussels for appetizers—both were fantastic and full of flavor. 🦪🫓 For dinner my husband had the fish with mashed potatoes, and I had the fish with broccolini. Everything was cooked beautifully and tasted fresh and delicious. 🐟🥔🥦 By the end I honestly felt like I didn’t even need dessert… but we got the chocolate cake anyway, and it was worth every bite. 🍫🍰 Great food, great drinks, and the perfect spot for a celebration. We’ll definitely be back. 💕🍽️✨
