We took our 4-year-old son to DK Farms' Easter event and were blown away! The amount of effort, planning, and care that went into the event was incredible. Everything was organized, from the fast-moving entry line to the age-grouped egg hunts, making it fun and fair for everyone. I especially appreciated that they offered a dedicated time slot for children on the spectrum. The animals were clearly well cared for, the concession area was great, and the entire event was worth every penny. You can tell the owners and staff truly love what they do. We'll definitely be back during spooky season!
We visited DK Farms & Gardens over Easter weekend with our 12-year-old daughter and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. While this is not advertised as a large-scale operation, it offers a surprising variety of activities in a compact, well-maintained setting. The farm features a diverse range of animals, including ponies, pigs, goats, bunnies, a cow, chickens, and even a guard dog. Visitors can purchase feed buckets of various sizes to interact with the animals—an experience that directly supports their care. Additional attractions include pedal karts, bouncy equipment, gem mining, putt-putt golf, pony rides, petting sessions, and even bull riding. The on-site food was decent, and my wife appreciated the wine selection. The staff were friendly and attentive throughout our three-hour visit. My daughter had a wonderful time, making the drive and cost well worth it for our family. This is a charming, family-friendly spot rather than a sprawling 30-acre destination. It may not suit those on a very tight budget due to the à la carte pricing for activities and feed, but for a fun, engaging outing with children, it delivers. We look forward to returning for future special events. Highly recommended for families seeking a pleasant, hands-on farm experience in the Largo area.
My trip here was absolutely worth the general admission price! I spent a wonderful hour enjoying the hands-on photo ops, especially feeding the friendly goats and hanging out with the adorable rabbits. The variety of animals was impressive: they have goats, a fluffy miniature Highland cow, ponies, farm pigs, chickens, roosters, ducks, bunnies, a donkey, and even a tortoise. It's a perfect spot for any animal lover!
We visited today to celebrate my wife’s birthday and we were so beyond impressed with the entire experience. The mini golf was so fun and had a good amount of holes to play that were all very unique. We got the pleasure to enjoy games, petting the baby cows, goats, bunnies, mini horses, dog and more animals than we expected. We had Megan help us with the entire visit and she went above and beyond the entire time we were there and made the entire trip so fun. I will make sure to bring my family back and look forward to seeing Megan in the future!
This was our first and last visit to this farm, I was expecting more I guess from the photos on their website. We spent $41 for two young children and an adult, which included one small cup of animal pellets per child. We did make it stretch as they weren’t too interested at first. Tons of goats, a couple mini ponies, a tiny cow, chickens, ducks and bunnies, donkey and tortoise to see and pet most of them. All extra activities were extra, $10-12/activity/child is wildly high to spend a couple minutes for an animal encounter. I was hoping there would be staff in the areas to demonstrate how to hold the bunnies, ask fun facts, checking in on people(we witnessed a family inside the goat area and one of the children got knocked down in between the cow and goat.). The animals looked hot, not too many water stations for them, no fans or shade on the 78 degree day. I suggest going before the summer heat returns, minimal shade for us as well. Hand washing stations thankfully as you’ll need it more than once. Free parking is a plus.
