Comfort Inn & Suites Northeast - Gateway

Not as great as I thought when reading the reviews. My own experience is their lobby room breakfast and small community areas were pretty nice. I love that it had a little vending machine and most of the front desk staff friendly. But after being approached with a mild aggression by a housekeeper for having some drops of my daughter's hair dye on a couple of there already very dingy towels. My daughter felt bad her hair dye was dripping bc of the pool stripping the chemical. I went to Walmart and bought a dollars worth of bleach and treated the towels myself. But it definitely got left me feeling awkward and on the defisive. I felt like it changed the mood of our vacation while we were there in the hotel. And started seeing a lot of things that made me think that the hotel was definitely not award-worthy. First of all it's weird that a housekeeper would approach at all and not a member of management and then not have any proof of the things she was saying except for that she didn't like that that were pink on the towel. Then I started noticing things around the room like the shower heads that were freaking disgusting and behind the toilets and well I'll let the pictures speak for themselves about the parking lots. Also the tissue holder and the the shampoo bracket we're both broken. We had mold on our shower curtain. The whole point of me mentioning all of this is that possibly without that one girl coming to me aggressively I would have just worried about my vacation and not about all of these little things that add up to a big picture of what this place is really like. We finished our vacation stay and I left the tip for housekeeping even though I had that bad experience just because. But maybe realize the when you approach people the wrong way you change the whole experience and how they see your hotel. Hospitality is what you do work on that.

So this place turned out to be a really good find. Reviews did help but hotels can change fast. It’s a clean and comfortable hotel with basics that are good. Room is all around comfortable and clean. Food nearby. I would come back

Had a fantastic stay at Comfort Inn & Suites Northeast – Gateway! The hotel was clean, comfortable, and very well maintained. The rooms were spacious, the beds were cozy, and everything we needed was thoughtfully provided. Breakfast was a highlight — there were many options to choose from, all fresh and well-organized. The staff member serving breakfast was especially caring; she came over to check on us and asked if we needed anything specific, which made the experience feel personal and welcoming. The rest of the staff was friendly, professional, and always ready to help. Great location, excellent service, and outstanding value for the price. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it.

We were pleasantly surprised with this hotel! Great value for the money. The service at the front desk was phenomenal. Our room was very spacious and clean. The entire facility is well maintained and the location is in a safe area. Complimentary breakfast was very good. We had a great stay and will definitely return next time we are in town.

Clean, quiet and room is exactly as described. Breakfast is the typical free hotel breakfast with scrambled eggs, 1 type of meat but they offer yogurt, frozen breakfast burritos and sandwiches which others do not. All staff i have meet so far smile and are very helpful. The staff is what really makes this Comfort Inn better than others I have stayed at
