Coconut Inn

My wife and I stayed at Coconut Inn over Memorial Day weekend and it was wonderful! The staff is lovely, including Baxter the cat! The rooms are adorable! The whole Inn feels so home-y and sweet! It’s just across the street from the beach so the location is perfect and walking distance to local restaurants and fun! They have chairs that you can borrow for the beach - everything is there and taken care of. We appreciated the lgbt sticker on the office door too 🥰 We had such a nice time and will definitely be staying there again! Exceptional place and an amazing time!

We stayed here for a week in April 2026 and had a great time. We were in room number 5. The Coconut Inn is great and we have no complaints other than the very small bathroom, with extremely high water pressure. The location is perfect for walking distance activities, the beach is super easy to get to as well as restaurants. We utilized the laundry and beach chairs on our trip. I was very leary about choosing this place because the pet friendliness with my pretty severe pet allergies but had zero issues. My wife loved Baxter as well! From this location you can easily walk the beach down and the bay back up and see lots of wildlife. Tons of dolphins, manatees, starfish and great shells to be found. Anna Marie Island, St. Pete Pier, Fort DeSoto, and Johns Pass were some fun attractions we did outside of Pass-a-Grille.

Room 10. The place was clean, close to the beach and walking distance to restaurants and shops. For me it was perfect. I will say that the kitchenette and bathroom are very small. I would compare them to RV size. Bathroom is narrow, tub/shower is half the length of a standard tub. If sitting on the toilet my knees were 2 inches from the wall. I’m 5’3 so it didn’t bother me but it may bother others.

I stayed here for a solo trip and it was the best vibes! From the comfy room, to the bikes, beach chairs, wagons, snorkel gear. They take care of you here. If you want to relax and just be close to the beach. I felt like i was at home. I want to come again!

Highly recommend! Clean, renovated rooms! Comfortable bed and our sweet pup was welcomed too! We can feel the effort, pride of ownership, and care to provide an optimal experience for their guests. Beach chairs, umbrellas and wagons are available and so convenient for guests to bring to the beach! It’s a gem of a place to retreat to for a memorable beach vacation in beautiful Pass-a-Grille!
