Clearwater Beach Marriott Resort on Sand Key

I had an outstanding experience at this Marriott, and a huge part of that was because of Jackson. From the moment we arrived, he went above and beyond in every way. He helped bring all of our bags up, and when we needed a ride back from Sand Key Beach, he personally came and picked us up. That level of service is incredibly rare these days. What really stood out wasn’t just what he did—it was how he did it. Jackson was friendly, professional, genuinely caring, and made us feel like valued guests instead of just another room number. He anticipated our needs, had a positive attitude the entire time, and made our stay significantly more enjoyable. Employees like Jackson are the reason people return to a hotel and recommend it to others. Marriott is fortunate to have someone who represents the brand with such pride and professionalism. He deserves to be recognized for his exceptional customer service, and I sincerely hope management acknowledges his hard work. Team members like Jackson are exactly the kind of leaders who should be promoted. Thank you, Jackson, for making our stay memorable. We truly appreciate everything you did for us.

A nice resort away from the main strip. It close to the strip but good enough to he away from the maddness if you want tranquility. I did like the room and how the setup was for how old it is. We ate on site at the restaurant below. We enjoyed not having to leave. It is pricey but the price to pay for convenience. Our servers were cool especially Scott James! He personality and his attentiveness was A+. He was engaged and treated our son well. We went 4th of July weekend and the view did not disappoint. It is not beach front but you have access to the beach across the street. Trolley and shuttle services. Overall not bad!

We had our rehearsal dinner and wedding week at the resort and it was AMAZING! All of our guests from around the world said it was the best week ever. The staff we encountered were incredibly nice and accommodating when we kept having huge parties at breakfast, they pulled up tables and made us feel right at home. Rehearsal dinner was gorgeous on the watercolour deck, and the 2 waitresses we had were super nice and attentive. The booking & planning process for the whole week were made incredibly smooth by Brandon and Joanna. They were easily reachable by phone and were so so nice the whole week. The front desk staff was also fantastic with free water bottles, early check-in, and late check-out! They made our experience so relaxing since we didn't have to rush away and could instead lounge by the pool with a frozen drink in hand. They moved all the pool furniture off the veranda so we could take our wedding photos there, and let us wrap the main staircase with florals for photos. I can't recommend this hotel enough for weddings/vacations. We had a blast and will definitely be back in the future. Thanks again Brandon & Joanna!!!

We had a wonderful stay at the Marriott Bonfoy Clearwater Beach! I am a die hard Marriott fan and am loyal for good reason. Our stay was pleasant, we felt safe and the hotel location was perfect! The hotel was recently updated and it looked great! The person that really stood out to us was Sarah. Sarah is a server at the pool restaurant. We loved their supreme pizza! We ended up having it for dinner 3 nights in a row. Sarah was friendly, attentive and efficient! We felt like we made a friend with Sarah! She even served us at a table inside one night as we played cards… there is a large counter with chairs as you come in the pool door.. I hope this review was helpful.. enjoy your stay here!

This is our 2nd time staying here for our anniversary and if I could give 10 stars.., I would!! From valet, to the reception to the pool bar service is spectacular. I love the layout of the rooms, new & modern spacious with the suite style and breathtaking water views. Tj at the front desk was amazing!! When he heard it was our anniversary he provided us with a couple of drink vouchers as well as sending up wine and a cheese tray to our room. It was so thoughtful and really made a last impression. We’ve already booked another trip at the end of the month bringing our 2 kids to enjoy this beautiful resort before school starts. The watercolour lounge is amazing! Rick and Ricardo the bartenders are a dynamic duo and make handcrafted cocktails that are excellent. There are plenty of options in Clearwater beach but after trying things around town and nothing is as good as the watercolour lounge service and cocktails. We have come here every night to eat sushi which is the best we have ever had. We would drive from Orlando just for the incredible sushi.
