Clarion Inn & Suites

The staff were not very friendly. But the service was adequate. Breakfast was very nice and the coffee was good. The real surprise was the pool area looked very dirty and wasn't getting the care it needs. Maybe the hotel is short staffed. Our room was clean and well appointed. The bed was comfortable and we overall had no real issues... Just needs a little more attention to some areas. The lack of a elevator was hard as I'm somewhat disabled and our luggage was heavy to get up the stairs. I hope this gets resolved soon. Lastly the front lobby was gorgeous and beyond the par for this hotel.. very nice entry though..

It was a really nice stay. The furniture in the lobby was very chic. Great customer service at check in and check out. Sadly, it rained and we weren't able to hang out by the pool. It looked a amazing as we were checking out. Lots of vending machines for late night snacks and beverages. Convenient location. Make your own waffles, scrambled eggs, yogurt, fruit, granola, cereal, bread, muffins, juice, coffee, English Breakfast tea all available for 6:30am breakfast. I would stay there again. Bathrooms clean. Fridge in every room. Decent TV and the beds were really comfortable! There's a small business center to use which was helpful.

I was greeted by Sybil at the front desk with kindness and a very professional attitude. When there was a problem with my room assignment because I had booked online and was late she asked Marcy the assistant General Manager to help and wow being a Choice Member since 2002 i can honestly say I have never been more impressed by any Choice Hotel employee and there have been many very good ones over the years. The rest of my stay was so enjoyable and many times I would see Marcy and Sybil at that front desk and they always had a smile and a kind word I truly felt like family. By the way the breakfast each morning was crazy awesome. What an awesome staff.

Clean and updated rooms! The front desk lady that checked me in was very nice and thorough. The pool area is large and a wonderful amenity. Separate kids pool and and hot tub. Refrigerator and microwave in room, vending on site, small restaurant attached offering basic apps, burgers, sandwiches and drinks at a decent rate for what it is. Nothing fancy at the Bayside Grill. Restaurants and more dining options located around the corner on Gulf to Bay Blvd. Target, Costco, Sam's Club around rhe corner nearby as well. Breakfast included with my room rate, another wonderful amenity. Nothing fancy but definitely comfortable and I would stay again.
