It’s always a vibe when I come. Staff is very knowledgeable about the cigars because I am definitely not! I learned I love scotch here. I don’t even drink margaritas but PAUL made me an A MAY ZING one today. Everyone is welcome here and I look forward to every visit
Nice little cigar lounge/bar nice to talk and have a great smoke. Very nice selection with some hard to find cigars.
Marissa is the best! We love hanging out with her, especially on Wednesday nights. We play trivia together and she is able to manage the bar and engage with the regulars. She makes us smile while serving great drinks. She is a spark that keeps us coming every week!
Not a cigar enthusiast but really appreciated the guy running the register, cutting/lighting the cigars, answering my questions and also giving me a bit of knowledge when it comes to cigars. Really cool place. Nice atmosphere with a live band on the other side playing cool jams. I'll definitely be back!
I live in St Petersburg Fl.I have been visiting Central Cigar for about 10 years..I recently started to visit more since now retired. I go there to relax and enjoy several cigars with drinks. I met Jeff at Register very nice person with lots of cigars experience.always willing to help with genuine Charm. Paul bartender very so I'll and communicative these are the people I enjoy seeing when I visit Central cigar. And now the bad part. I met Sam bartender lady and also met the young male the owners son. Very nice person treated me like people should be treated..I forgot his name but his name is short. Moving forward my disappointment is with Sam bartender . Every time I went there and order a drink from her I felt like a second class citizen. She always ask me for my credit card as if I will run and not pay for my drink. It really made me feel bad and I asked her she only ask me for my credit card and her replied was I don't know you . I said ok. I went 5 times more and the 5 times she asked to hold my card..I told Jeff and Paul about it. Just so they know I don't appreciate that. I left 10 dollar tip everything I go there. Spent about 75 total with cigars. None of the other bartenders ask to keep my card. I feel is not necessary and it is offensive as if there is no trust..despite what has happened to her in the past. She's always talking to her friends the ones she knows sitting at bar. She doesn't walk the bar to see if i need a drink..I always have to raise my hand so that I catch her attention for a drink. To me she's not very friendly. I get that I'm not her friend but she has a responsibility to the business as a bartender. One other time I asked her why you for that and she replied it's my desecration. I said ok good answer. That really did it for me. Last week I was there doing the same thing but this time I got my drink and went to the jazz room.. I decided not to tip anything since that is also my desecration. I enjoyed the show and ordered more drinks from the male bartenders. Tipped them 15 dollars that night. I was treated well by both of them. Im writing this bad review because of SAM that's all..I want everyone to know that everyone should be treated with respect and dignity. This business has been there for 29 years. Im a resident of st Petersburg. Older than her probably.. I hope management read my review and train her.. she should have better understanding. Attitude and judgement. .
