Carambola at the Hilton Clearwater Beach Resort

What a nice surprise to find this place. I was not staying at this Hilton, but was looking for a place to eat after a walk on the beach. What a great view and the bang-bang shrimp tacos were delicious. Add an aperol spritz to make it a perfect dining experience! Amazing end to a busy work week prior to getting on the plane and back to the chill of the northeast!

Stopped there for a quick lunch with the beautiful view of the Gulf. The lined in cloth lemon for my salad was beautiful touch. Larry our server did and amazing job.

A good place for breakfast at the Hilton. The outdoor seating was good, the service was okay, the breakfast buffet was okay. The outdoor seats need to be cleaned since most are covered in bird poop. Nice beach view.

Hats off to the chef!! I just had the best cream of mushroom soup ever!! I know that sounds like a weird soup to rave over but it’s so damn good! Big chunks of mushroom and there was an amazing depth of flavor in the base. Short ribs was my entree… it was melt in your mouth goodness!! It had whipped potatoes and brussels for side. Everything went well together!! Would have dined in if we weren’t under the weather, so we could tell the chef dinner was great :)

I had Sea Bass for the first time, and it was amazing! Best fish I've had yet. The atmosphere was super relaxing, and the service was great!
