Cafe Cibo

Our date night at Cafe Cibo was perfect. From South Tampa, 20 minute drive across the bridge to St. Pete and viola! A great meal… We were drawn to a FB post that showed the MaryLand style crab cake 🦀. Tracey helped us select our meals and made great suggestions. She literally treated like we were in her home. Attentive and caring. First Hubs and I slurped up the house dipping sauce - butter red sauce goodness with their homemade focaccia bread! We ordered a couple of apps to try and shared dinner- a great choice! The crab cake was EVERYTHING… flaky, white lumb crab with ZERO filler. Delicious!!! We shared our linguini and clams sauce and the clams were huge, tender and perfectly prepared and the brine of the clams were a perfectly blended with clam wine and Parmesan. Also, great to meet Frankie, the owner. The food was authentic and well priced and the atmosphere quaint and homey. Thanks for a great evening Cafe Cibo.

Great little hidden gem of a exceptional Italian Restaurant. Service was excellent the fresh focaccia bread was awesome and the dipping sauce was the best I have ever tasted. Our waiter suggested the Crab Ragu and the suggestion didn’t disappoint. My fellow diners had the Fruit of the sea’s pasta and stated it was fantastic as well.

They truly went above and beyond! Everything came out piping hot, incredibly flavorful, and absolutely delicious. The Chicken Parmigiana and Shrimp Alfredo were both outstanding — and you can tell the pasta is made fresh… soooo good. We also had the stuffed mushrooms with crab and wow — real crab meat and packed with flavor. To top it all off, the tiramisu was the perfect finish. Fantastic food, amazing hospitality, and an experience that makes you want to come back again. Highly recommend!

We are so happy we stumbled upon this place because the other spot we were gonna try was closed. A blessing in disguise! They started with giving us some free baked bread that was very good. Moved onto the salads that were included with our dish and the Caesar salad was probably one of the best I’ve ever had! The chicken Parmesan was bigger than I expected with fettuccine that was perfectly cooked. I like the fact that I could taste the breading, and the chicken was soft with just enough sauce on it. The other great dish that we had was the chicken Milanese. You definitely have to get some of that special sauce that they offer. A nice buttery tomato blend like vodka sauce. The service was wonderful here, people so friendly with a wonderful cute environment. It will be awesome when they open up the outside area to dine in. This is now our go to place for Italian food and can’t wait to go back!

Nice little Italian restaurant. Had the seafood risotto. Very good but I like my scallops more cooked or at least seared. My wife had crab over large piece of salmon. Very generous portion. Italian Wedding soup was excellent but not hot enough service was perfect. Joe went above and beyond. Atmosphere was good but too cold inside. Nice to have bread that’s not extra. Overall good value— just need to address a few issues above.
