Book + Bottle

This is exactly the bookstore / third space I want. Part bookstore part wine bar part coffee shop with cool events. Visited with several friends during a book crawl. Had to park a few streets away downtown and walk. The staff chatted and already knew some friends on the artists scenes. They gave great recommendations, made delicious lattes, poured some much needed wine while we sat and chilled for a while. Beautiful bookstore to hang with adult friends.

Easily my favorite spot in St. Pete to find a gift, get the perfect book recommendation, invite a friend for a coffee or happy hour, or get a couple hours of remote work done. They even have some gluten-free and vegan snacks! Truly a rare “third place.” For me it’s not just a cafe or bookstore or wine shop, it’s more like a community hub where I can meet people with common interests, attend events, learn about books and authors and wine, and be inspired. The staff is so knowledgeable and helpful. Thank you for being part of what makes St. Pete feel like home!

This is my favorite independent book and wine store ever! So warm and welcoming - even the patrons were visiting and sharing recommendations with each other. Dominic was amazing! He asked thoughtful questions to understand what my interests were then helped me find Sauvignon Blancs and some excellent books to add to my list. Best experience and a must for anyone working their way through the independent bookstores of Tampa/St. Pete!

What a fantastic find! We were in town for business and stopped in looking for a bottle of wine to take back to the hotel. I had no idea we were about to discover one of the coolest spots in St. Petersburg. They happened to be celebrating their anniversary, so the place was busy and full of energy, yet the staff still took the time to help me select a wine and tell me about their philosophy, how they curate their selection, and what makes the shop unique. They even introduced me to their wine buyer, who was there off the clock, and was happy to share insights about their process and recommendations. I was incredibly impressed by the eclectic wine selection, and was pleasantly surprised to find a wine from a small winery back home in Texas! It felt like such a fun and unexpected connection. Between the welcoming staff, amazing wine selection, great books, and overall atmosphere, this place absolutely has the vibe. You can tell it's run by people who are passionate about what they do. I thought I wrote the awesome girl's name down who helped me, and I am crushed that I didn't because she deserves recognition! ugh... If you see this and remember me and my cowboy husband from Texas... shout out your name girl, because you were AWESOME!! (this almost turned into a missed connections post :) I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in St. Petersburg!

The best vibes!!! Warm and friendly staff, awesome selection of books, cutie merch, and excellent bar with coffees, teas, and wines. We stopped in during a Florida summertime storm and had a great experience waiting out the rain. We didn’t want to leave! They host a tremendous calendar of events; really different stuff. The staff seriously made me feel so welcome. And the local library was even setting up a table as we were leaving! You can tell they’re super involved in the community. Highly encourage a visit!
