Bilmar Beach Resort

For a 2-star review, I’d make it balanced so people take it seriously: ⭐⭐☆☆☆ That actually makes the review stronger, because it shows you weren’t just a single family in a room expecting too much. ⭐⭐☆☆☆ The Bilmar’s beachfront location is wonderful, and the views are hard to beat. Unfortunately, that’s where most of the positives ended for us. Our family rented the penthouse suite along with four additional rooms for a family vacation, so we brought a significant amount of business to the resort. Because the penthouse was our gathering space, we expected the kitchen to be equipped for more than a handful of people. Instead, the kitchen contained only four plates, four cups, four glasses, four forks, four spoons, one frying pan, and one pot. There wasn’t even a cutting board or a decent knife for food preparation. We ended up borrowing cookware and supplies and even bringing items from home just to make meals work. What was even more frustrating was the response. After I complained about the lack of kitchen supplies, it took three days for someone to come check on the issue. When they finally arrived, they simply confirmed exactly what I had already reported—as if having only four place settings and minimal cookware in a penthouse suite was acceptable. For the price we paid, I expected much better accommodations and customer service. The beach location is excellent, but the room amenities, attention to guest concerns, and overall value fell well below expectations. I wouldn’t say our stay was terrible, but it certainly fell short of expectations, and I would likely look at other options before booking here again.

My wife and I absolutely loved our stay at the Bilmar Beach Resort. The rooms were clean and updated. The two pools we're immaculate and in perfectly maintained. The location was just perfect. I can't say enough about the hospitality of the staff, they made us feel welcome in every way. I can't wait for my next stay!

We had a great experience at Bilmar Beach Resort! The staff was friendly and nice, and the resort has easy access to a beautiful, clean white sand beach with free 2 chairs. The location is perfect, with free parking, and the elevators in both buildings were convenient and worked well. We had a wonderful stay with our family and kids

We had such a great experience here! The staff were all so friendly and helpful with any accommodation we needed. We loved that they always had towels and waters ready by the pool. There are two pools so there is lots of space to sun. The hotel is right on the beach so we were able to easily get beach access. The only thing I would caution is that there is live music across the street till late at night every night. Thankfully, We had brought our own sound machine which helped a bit with sound but if we hadn’t brought that I would not have been able to sleep! Otherwise I would definitely recommend the bilmar for views, comfort, and beach proximity!

I’ll start by saying Heather was amazing and super welcoming! I was originally supposed to have a floor level per the third party site I booked but ended up on a higher floor. The view from the room was amazing! My room was an updated one. Only “issues” was house keeping did NOT clean my floors prior to my stay so my feet were dirty walking around. The lighting in the bathroom is God awful you can’t see anything in the shower. Housekeeping was prompt with towel service though. The resort fee of $90 was excessive seeing as how I already paid $750 for my 2 nights. For the price point not worth the stay.
