Amber was our server and she was AWESOME! The food was outstanding. My family has some serious German lineage in it and this tasted like HOME! I was able to talk to the Lady that prepared our dishes and she was an amazing Lady just in herself... let alone her cooking. Just to say to the parents out there... the MOST CRAYONS we ever got was presented to our Toddler. Everything was outstanding.

Verdict: 👍🏽 👍🏽 What we got: jagerschnitzel with fries, a doner box, and an appel strudel with ice cream. Drinks too. ☺️ We came across this locale about 6 years ago and kept coming back! I don’t know if there are other German food in this side of town, and the only other one we knew of and trusted to serve delicious food, is in Temple Terrace. Food is great, but I’m giving it 5 stars because it just wasn’t stellar compared to some other places I’ve visited. Don’t get me wrong, I still recommend Berlins Doener and I’ll definitely return, but it’s like when you know you’re going to a 4-star hotel versus a 5-star hotel. Nothing wrong with 4-stars. You just know what to expect. 🥰 The portions are plentiful and the server was very nice, helpful, and patient with us. Overall, I’ll say it again, I recommend Berlin’s Doener as a great place to try/have German food ✨

This is one of those rare moments when you find a truly authentic European restaurant way outside of Europe. Simply amazing! The giant pretzel with Obatzda cheese dip was a dream, and the beer was absolutely perfect. But the absolute star of the show was the Sauerbraten: the meat is incredibly tender, the gravy is outstanding, and both side dishes taste fantastic and completely homemade. A true piece of Germany. Highly recommended!

My first time trying German food, very tasty and kind service. The beer flight was a nice option if you're unsure. The pretzel was piping hot and delicious. They also have dishes that mirror Greek food as well. Nice shady outdoor seating too...Looking forward to going again
