Barefoot Beach Resort

Great place to stay. My review is for information purposes only for people who want to stay here in the future. Each unit is independently owned. With that said, the condo was beautifully beach themed decorated. My husband and I stayed a week. All new appliances in the kitchen and new furniture throughout the condo. The bed was very comfortable. The location was very quiet. My complaint is more nitpicking about the kitchen. I get that people on vacation usually eat out. However, my hubs and I ate in to save money. The kitchen is not very “cook” friendly so I had to get creative. For starters, you get ONE set of dish towel and dish rag. I think there should be consideration taken into how long a stay is and provided more than one set. No pot holders or lids for the multiple used pots and pans provided. There was no dish drainer so I ended up using the dishwasher as one. I did use the dishwasher one time because they give you two dishwasher tabs as a “courtesy “ for the week. If you want more you had to buy them. I just ended up going to Walmart and buying good dish detergent and hand washed the dishes. The small bottle of cheap stuff they provided sucked. There was a nice set of dishes and glasses. BUT, there were random mismatched silverware. In my opinion it was very tacky. If you are setting a certain standard, you missed the mark. Go to Walmart and spend $30 on a new set. It just didn’t match the ambiance of the condo. If we are spending the kind of money on a “luxurious” stay, my expectations were not completely met. Again, these are my opinions and it is a beautiful condo. I would have given it 5 stars but that would mean perfection.

I LOVED this experience!! It was such a wonderful time. Beautiful, beautiful interior cutely decorated with lots of space to relax as a suite. It was just my husband and me, no kids, so just 2 adults. The check in clerks were very friendly and answered all questions. No fear for safety as well, it seemed in a nice quiet location. It’s walking distance to the beach, with a very convenient cross walk right across the hotel. No food or room service is provided, but they provide that information on a pamphlet upon arrival, so no surprises. In the suites are a fridge, stove, plates, silverware, even a coffee maker so they provide everything you’d need to make your own food. I’d definitely recommend this place for a relaxing retreat for couples or people with kids. It’s like an Airbnb without the Airbnb prices.

We stayed two nights at the condo and it was so nice. Beautiful views, great location, a 5 minute walk to the beach and very clean! We will definitely be returning next time we’re here!

Great location and beautiful beach, however not all units are maintained the same. This is our 2nd stay and the unit needed some new blinds, minor maintenance repairs, refrigerator was extremely rusty and a new mattress. Springs must have been broke as you sunk to the middle. I let the office know when checking out but they didn’t make note of it or seem too concerned. This could all be more understandable if not paying $378/night, but by paying this much everything should be in good order. Shame on them.

Needed a night before our Airbnb was ready and this place was a hidden gem, would definitely come for longer stays. Kids loved the pool and the condo was large. Plenty of essentials. And your across the street from the beach. Definitely recommend based on the price. Spotless.
