My daughter and I had a blast. Got the platinum pass and plan on going often. The pass gets you preferred parking and other perks. Anyways this was my first time here. We went on July 5th right when the park opened. Parked right up in front and was through security in 10 minutes. Lots of shaded areas. There was hardly anyone here which was great. Extremely clean and fun.

I visited Adventure Island on Monday, July 20,2026. I arrived before 9:00 a.m., which is when the park opens, so there was practically no line or wait time. As soon as the gates opened, we were able to go in and start enjoying the attractions. Until around 11:00 a.m., the park was very quiet. All the attractions were open, and we could simply walk up and ride without waiting. Around noon, the park started getting busier, and some lines began to form, but nothing out of the ordinary. Overall, I loved all the attractions. Everything was clean, and the staff was very friendly throughout our visit. The atmosphere in the park is relaxed and family-friendly, making it a great place to spend the day. We rode almost every attraction. The only one we skipped was Vanish Point, as we didn't think it was the right fit for us. Colossal Curl was absolutely incredible and one of the most impressive rides in the park. We also really enjoyed Aruba Tuba. My seven-year-old's favorite rides were Rapids Racer and Wahoo Remix. He had an amazing time on both and kept asking to ride them again. They were exciting, unique, and a lot of fun. Most attractions have height requirements. Depending on the ride, children must be at least 42 inches or 48 inches tall to participate. As for the food, the park offers an all-day dining plan, but we decided not to purchase it. Instead, we bought our meals separately. We were three adults and one seven-year-old child, and we ordered a hamburger, chicken, and fries for the child. It was enough for our visit. The park has lockers available if you want to store your belongings. They are not very large, and the price ranges from about $20 to $40, depending on the size. You can also bring a wagon or rolling cart with your belongings and leave it near the lounge chairs while you enjoy the attractions. We had no issues at all, and nothing went missing. Parking costs approximately $30 to $45, depending on the option you choose. Admission tickets may seem a bit expensive, but considering the overall experience, I thought they were worth it. One thing to keep in mind is that some family water slides have weight restrictions. If the total weight of the group exceeds the limit (around 400 pounds on some rides), four people are not allowed to ride together. During our visit, there was a storm around 2:00 p.m. For safety reasons, the attractions were temporarily closed, and guests were directed to a safe area. About 30 minutes later, once the weather cleared, all the attractions reopened and everything returned to normal. The best part of the visit was seeing how much the child enjoyed the park. His favorite attraction was the wave pool, and he had an amazing day, which was exactly the purpose of our visit. Overall, I think Adventure Island is definitely worth visiting, especially if you're going with children. It's a clean, well-organized park with a pleasant atmosphere and plenty of attractions to enjoy a great family day.

Linda's honest travel review! Adventure Island in Tampa, Florida is a fun water park close to Bush Gardens and other tourist attractions around. A nice and entertaining park with many slides and a lazy river. Vendors are around for food and drinks. Nothing can be brought into the park! The 3 star ratings is for admission price ($50), parking fees ($30) and food prices! Besides on none busy days they turn off some slides like the big Key West ride! Why? I paid full price, I'd like to enjoy the whole park! On holidays and weekends it can get really busy. Waiting times are long for each and every ride! The day was good. I will not come back. Go out travel and learn something new :)

The park was well maintained, though there weren’t many food options. Weekdays aren’t crowded, which made the visit smoother. My kids enjoyed all the rides and had a lot of fun. General parking is around $40, and lockers start at $32 for a small one — enough to store a bag and move freely. Larger lockers are also available. Seagulls hang around the eating area, so be careful because they may try to steal your food. The only downside was the weather; lightning caused sudden ride suspensions, which is common this time of year. Overall, it was a good experience, and kids 42 inches and above can enjoy most of the rides. For many of the rides, you’ll need to carry the tubes yourself and climb roughly 40–70 feet up to get to the starting point. 💪 TIP: If the park shuts down because of the weather, don’t forget to grab your complimentary tickets from the reception before heading out.

The cabana was a huge rip off, plenty of chairs with trees coverage. So the 400 bucks I spent on it was trash. It was all the way in the back of the park, fathest from all slides and food. The fan inside it, smh. It was about to fall down and break. The kids liked the slides, food was over priced. Employees didn't know anything, where bathrooms where. She responded with 1st day here. Idk. Then the bar tender asked for ID. Sure. Its in my bathing suit pocket!!! Didn't have. Skipped the drink. But the 2 dudes behind me never got carded!! The all day food passes come with 2 free drinks. DONT BUY THW ALL YOU CAN DRINK CUOS. 22 bucks for nothing for plastic cups. Not happy with the amount I spent, to have idk for answers. And the food was like cheap tasting but they charge an arm and a leg for it. Sorry we got passes for it. Water was cool, life guards were nice, the only ones thwt did thier job right. In my opinion
