MLK The Power of a Dream Parade Weekend Celebration

Celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. Day at the annual MLK The Power of a Dream Parade Weekend Celebration in downtown St. Pete! This is the nation's longest-running parade honoring MLK in history.

The celebration kicks off on Friday, January 16th with the MLK Dream Big Banquet. Limited seating is available, so please get in touch with Advantage Village Academy's office at (727) 321-7919 to register!

Next up, you won't want to miss out on the MLK Dream Big Band Showcase at Gibbs High School on Sunday, January 18th. The event will feature notable college bands such as Albany State University, Tuskegee University, Savannah State University and more.

Then on Monday, January 19th, join us in celebrating the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. at the MLK The Power of a Dream Parade! This vibrant and inspiring parade travels through the heart of downtown St. Pete on 1st Avenue South, concluding at Tropicana Field.
