In partnership with St. Peter’s Ghosts, begin a 90-minute Haunted History tours at the Museum and explore the dark side of the Sunshine City. Visit haunted and historic locations throughout downtown. Trolley Tours
The St. Petersburg Museum of History hosts monthly trolley tours! Join us on the first Saturday of each month for a historic guided trolley tour of St. Pete with the Museum of History and Star Trolley. Learn about stories and secrets of the Sunshine City that may surprise even our local residents. The trolley departs the Museum at 9am. Reservations are required, visit our events calendar to register for our next tour. Members receive early access. Other themed tours are planned in future to include a Civil Rights tour and an architecture tour.
Boat Tours
The St. Petersburg Museum of History has partnered with the Tampa Bay Watch Discovery Center on the St. Pete Pier to present the City’s first Historic Boat Tour! Discover the history of St. Pete from the water! Hear how a colorful cast of characters turned a fishing village into a world-famous tourist destination, and learn what happened to the Tampa Bay ecosystem as a result. Walking Tours
Experience a monthly Downtown Walking Tour of St. Pete! The tour explores the quirky history of downtown while viewing historic landmarks. These 90-minute tours take place on the second Saturday of every month and depart from the Museum at 9:30am. Reservations are required, visit events calendar to register for the next tour. African American Heritage Walking Tour
