Big Hearts, Little Paws & Lots of Fun

Gulfport’s Get Rescued Animal Rescue Festival & Fun-raiser returns for its 23rd year on Saturday, February 27th from 10am - 5pm at Beach Boulevard S in Gulfport! Whether you are looking for a new family member or simply want to support the cause, the festival offers a vibrant atmosphere filled with purpose.

• The Florida Wiener Dog Derby: Experience the high-energy joy of this fan-favorite race, celebrating the spirit and speed of our dachshund friends
• Pet-Centric Marketplace: Shop from local vendors offering unique crafts, artwork, and "curious treats" designed specifically for animal lovers
• Education & Demos: Learn from the best with professional animal training demonstrations and pet care workshops
• Fun-raising Raffles: Every ticket purchased goes directly toward helping participating rescues continue their life-saving work

Admission is free and there will be plenty of convenient complimentary parking available throughout the area!

“Every year, this event reminds us of the incredible bond between humans and animals,” says Suzanne King, organizer of Get Rescued. “Celebrating 23 years isn’t just a milestone for us; it represents thousands of lives changed. We invite everyone to come out, enjoy the local shops and restaurants of Gulfport, and perhaps leave with a new best friend.”

Proceeds from the event will benefit participating animal rescue groups.

See you there!
