UPDATE: SOLD OUT. In conjunction with our special exhibition, Dalí & the Impressionists: Monet, Renoir, Degas & More, we invite you to paint a portrait of a furry friend in your life. Learn how to use a value scale and “paint by numbers” to create a unique and colorful pet portrait. Paintings are acrylic on canvas 10” square. UPDATE: SOLD OUT
Once your ticket is purchased, you must email instructor Shawn Dell Joyce at [email protected] with a pet photo that shows only the pet’s face (can be cropped). This must be sent no later than Monday, April 1. Shawn will then pre-sketch each canvas and provide a color key similar to how the Impressionists substituted colors for values in their paintings. The result is a colorful, fun portrait!
