In celebration of Black History Month, we invite you to join us for the performance Until the River Never Grieves by Bob Devin Jones. This choreopoem originally debuted in conjunction with our previous exhibition Aimé Césaire: Poetry, Surrealism and Négritude curated by Bob Devin Jones and The Dalí’s Curator and Senior Interpreter, Peter Tush.
Until the River Never Grieves, is a celebratory “choreopoem,” of the Négritude Movement and the timeless poems of Aimé Césaire. The performance features actors, dancers, musicians and a variety of musical instruments. “Until the River Grieves is my joyous response in researching the life and creative work of Aimé Césaire for this exhibition” said Bob Devin Jones.
