British hard rock icons, The Cult, comes to Clearwater for their Ruth Eckerd Hall debut! When they released their debut album Dreamtime in 1984, The Cult were gothic post-punks with an indie following. Within a few years, the Bradford band would become one of the classic hard rock titans of the decade. The Cult gained a dedicated following with mid-80s singles such as “She Sells Sanctuary” before breaking into the American metal market with songs such as “Love Removal Machine”. The Cult is also best known today for the hit arena rock singles “Fire Woman” and “Sun King”. In 2022, The Cult released their 11th studio album Under the Midnight Sun, an emotionally charged record with sweeping, stadium-filling guitar lines that included tracks such as "Mirror" and "Give Me Mercy".
