Five mosaic pavements from ancient Antioch dating from 2nd to 5th centuries A.D., conserved and restored to their former glory join other major works on loan from Princeton University Art Museum to tell the story of the historic, 1930s excavation of the Greco-Roman city. Never-before-seen vintage photos, excavation logs, dig notebooks and rare film footage provide a unique glimpse of the archaeological adventures that illuminated Antioch.
