Sawgrass Lake Park

Title: A Fantastic, Free Family Adventure!Sawgrass Lake Park was an incredibly fun experience for the whole family! The best part about it is that admission is completely free.We saw an abundance of wildlife during our visit, ranging from frogs and turtles to all kinds of birds. We were even lucky enough to spot one small baby alligator! If you are looking for a quick, fun, and budget-friendly activity to do with the family, I highly recommend checking this park out.

My favorite place in St Pete. I've been going here for decades. It's well maintained and peaceful. A nice place to walk around and see Florida nature including alligators. Only downside is the sound of the interstate but still preferable over Boyd Hill in my opinion, mostly because of the boardwalk

This place is beautiful, the look out is a great place to look for wildlife. There are a ton of turtles! The trail is a boardwalk, and it is structurally kept up and has plenty of shade and rest areas throughout the walking trail. Also has a convenient parking area. Highly recommend 👍

We love to come walk in this park. It has a couple miles of wooden deck trails. There is a look out tower (1/2 mile hike) where we often see alligators and snapping turtles. There are rest benches ever hundred yards or so.

We took a morning walk and enjoy the boardwalk. It was a very nice morning. Unfortunately we didn't see any gators but we did get dinner incredible bird and plant pictures.
