Reno Beach Surf Shop

Never open. I’ve come by THREE times during posted open hours… always closed. The shop next door said very limited hours. I guess I’ll buy on Amazon instead of supporting a local “business”! I’m a business owner. A responsible one. This is why businesses struggle. 😢

Brilliant staff they deserve much love, and the food was immaculate.

Love this place. Sad that I've lived here for 7 years and just became a customer. I honestly didn't know how great their shop was. Love supporting local businesses and had a nice chat with JC the GM of the store tonight (super nice guy). They had an open house with a live band, drinks and all kinds of good stuff happening. Love a retail shop that embraces the community in quirky ways. Shopped here for the first time a month ago for our annual NC beach vacation. Bought some shoes, sandals, t-shirts, swim trunks and some board shorts. Great place. Thinking about getting my first stand up paddle board through them as well. Some might say their stuff is on the pricier side but that is mostly because of the brands they carry.

As far as swimwear goes: Small selection. Small sizes. GIANT prices! I'm a size 2/4 and their extra smalls and smalls would've been a reach. Unfortunately they have no mediums or larges to try on (maybe one or two suits of the "cheap" brand, still $100+). So I took a picture of the suits I liked. Knowing that the small was just a bit too snug and a medium would probably be perfect, and what do you know I found the same $179 suit in their store for $56 online! The other suit that I liked has been discontinued and is nowhere online. So, I guess if I want it I will have to pay the $239 to wear a size too small. I'm not sure how they stay in business! They're not competitive pricewise and they have no selection! The clothing selection didn't look much better but they did have more options but same small sizes. I would maybe go there for an idea of what I wanted for shorts, tank tops, and sundresses then try to find my size online.

Great shop and service. I highly recommend this place. John went above and beyond with the service on my old Sector 9 board. I brought it in to replace the old bearings. He was honest and friendly with the selection of different brands available. He installed the bearings and even cleaned my wheels. Bringing my board back to life so I can shred the gnar again! I’m so happy and thankful for stopping by
