Tom Pitzen's education as an artist and designer began at The Ohio State University School of Architecture. He participated in the International Studies Program in Italy and worked for a prominent artist that took him to places like Saitama, Japan and multiple trips to New York, NY.

In 2002 Tom and his wife made the move to Gulfport, Florida. The quaint down town, the eclectic mix of people and the art scene drew them in, they have called it home ever since. His first large scale public art piece was created for the City of Imagination at the Gulfport Neighborhood Center in 2008.

Tom's kitchen, bath and library designs and have featured in many upscale homes with in the Tampa Bay area. Currently, his work has evolved to include large scale public art for both St. Petersburg, Florida and Gulfport, Florida, private commissions, commercial interiors, furniture and custom signs.
