Demens Landing Park

This waterfront city park is located on the site of the first railroad pier in St. Petersburg, built by Peter Demens in 1889. It is a short walk from downtown St. Pete. There are picnic areas, restrooms, a great view of Tampa Bay. Park also has a boat ramp and marinas surround three sides of the island. Nice place to spend an afternoon. 1st Ave S dead ends into Demens Park after crossing Bayshore Drive
