Clam Bayou Nature Preserve

Review for handicapped accessibility. ADA. Good parking available. Park at end for paved sidewalk along street and inlet to neighboring yacht club. Paved path to the viewing platform at end. Other platforms have access the broken shell paths to boardwalks to over the bayou. My husband uses a motorized scooter and had no trouble on most of the paths. There are a few sandy/soft areas were work was just completed. Avoid the steep hill area for wheelchairs and scooters. No toilet or bathrooms

Nice park, about a mile in trail. Beautiful views of the marina and a great place for bird watching. No toilets.

Love walking here specially in the winter when it’s not hot

I stopped by for a quick walk and really enjoyed the boardwalks and vistas of the water. It felt safe. People were fishing and we saw wildlife. There are some ground wasps in one area, so be aware of that. It's a good place to launch a kayak.

This is a hidden gem of a place. We were staying in St. Pete’s and I found it on google maps. On arrival we found a car park space and went exploring. We saw so much wildlife. Everything from Ospreys with fish and lizards, to a snake and an alligator. It was an excellent day.
