The Pastel Society of Tampa Bay will host the Plein Air Open.
Painters are invited to paint on the grounds and the environs near the Fenway Hotel in Dunedin on the third Thursday of the months of February (20th), March (20) and April (17) from 9am onwards.
Members must register with Bill Parker onsite or in advance ([email protected]). On April 17th, there will be a show of work created on and over the previous painting days and at 1:00pm members of the Fenway organization will judge all entries. Entries may be in any medium, may include final painting completed onsite or started onsite and completed in the studio, or sketchbook works. Paintings can be framed or unframed. Paintings will be displayed for judging on entrant's personal easels and ribbons will be awarded to the top three pastel works. The Fenway will select a "best in show" and award a prize they are providing.
All Mediums are welcomed and invited to paint on the grounds and environs near The Fenway Hotel. Register on site starting at 9 am. The public is invited to view the artwork at Noon. PSTB Award Ceremony at 1:00 pm. For more info email [email protected]
