Museum Day is a one-day event with museums all over the county and the country participating with free admission. Check out museum websites and restrictions in advance, as some participating museums require reservations in advance and may only be eligible to local residents:

The Florida Holocaust Museum
The Florida Holocaust Museum honors the memory of the people who suffered or died in the Holocaust. The Museum is dedicated to teaching the inherent worth and dignity of human life in order to prevent future genocides.

Imagine Museum
The Imagine Museum showcases contemporary art glass masterpieces that transforms color and light. The museum showcases major works of contemporary American and International art by founding and leading artists in the field of studio glass and art expression. 

The James Museum of Western and Wildlife Art
The James Museum of Western & Wildlife Art provides experiences through art that depict the history of the American West, and wildlife of the world. More than 400 premiere works of art including sculpture, paintings and jewelry are on display in the museum’s 26,000 square feet of gallery space.

Museum of Fine Arts St. Petersburg
With a collection covering 5,000 years of civilization, from antiquity to present the MFA is here for your discovery. The MFA highlights include masterpieces from Monet, O’Keeffe, De Kooning, Wiley, and others, a sculpture garden, and one of Florida’s most respected photography collections.

The Dali Museum
The Dalí Museum features the largest curated collection of Salvador Dalí’s work outside of Spain, and is an active resource in the cultural life of our community and the world at large. Free museum admission only for Pinellas County residents.
