Come out to the St. Pete City Hall on the first day of Black History Month for a flag-raising ceremony as the Dr. Carter G. Woodson African American Museum flag is raised up the flagpole. This annual tradition commemorates the historic struggle of African American people, while also honoring the pioneers who have uplifted the local community.
