Bert’s Barracuda Harley-Davidson and the OCC Road House & Museum are inviting the public to join in “Bert’s Tribute to America,” a special event to dedicate the largest American flag flying in Florida. The flag dedication ceremony will include a multi-agency color guard and the national anthem. The massive flag, which measures 100 feet by 50 feet and weighs more than 300 pounds, will be lighted and flown atop a 200-foot flag pole at Bert’s and OCC Road House.
The flag ceremony is just one highlight of Bert’s Tribute to America, which includes a full weekend of live musical performances by several of the area’s top tribute bands from Friday-Sunday. A weekend-long 50/50 cash raffle to benefit the Tunnel to Towers Foundation will also be taking place. Tunnel to Towers Foundation carries out its mission to “do good,” by providing mortgage-free homes to Gold Star and fallen first responder families with young children and by building custom-designed smart homes for catastrophically injured veterans and first responders.
The flag ceremony and general admission for the weekend concerts are FREE and open to the public. One- and two-day VIP Passes, which include secured up-front viewing, plenty of seating and private restrooms start at $50 and can be purchased at Road House Nation.
