On April 17th, 2024, the City of St. Petersburg is commemorating the 40th anniversary of the Senior Hall of Fame, a cherished tradition in the community. The Senior Hall of Fame awards ceremony began in 1983 as a way to honor our community's senior volunteers who have made noteworthy contributions toward improving the lives of the residents of St. Petersburg. Every year, organizations and individuals nominate exceptional candidates, from the pool of volunteers within their organizations. Without these charitable volunteers, many non-profit organizations could not survive.

Those chosen for induction are role models for leading meaningful, vibrant lives, and their compelling stories demonstrate their commitments to causes, organizations and to our community at large.

Do you know a senior you'd like to nominate to the Senior Hall of Fame? Nominations will be accepted until March 4th, 2024.
• Nominees must be 62 years of age or older.
• Nominees must be a seasonal or year-round resident of Pinellas county for three (3) or more years.
• Nominee has provided service through volunteering that benefits the quality of life for residents of St. Petersburg.
