I will say only a few things here. Food - phenomenal Service - phenomenal Atmosphere - phenomenal Came on 7/6/26 at 5pm. No line to get in. Service was immediate and attentive. Food was astounding. If youre in St Pete or Madeira Beach area. This place is an absolute must. No reservations allowed. Super casual attire allowed. Pricey. Worth every penny. A+++

We loved our anniversary, first-time visit, at 1200 Chophouse! The house salad blew us away! So good! Yummy rolls with a sweet butter. Ribeye and filet were the meat choices. Both were good but both had some ends well done, tho we ordered medium rare. Still yummy and ate it anyway! Baked potato for him, mashed potatoes for me. All in all, very good and I'm sure we'll be back again. Small place so, if looking for an early dinner, get there a bit before they open to get a table!

Hands down my favorite restaurant. Small, intimate dining. The steak is unbelievable! I ordered 10oz filet with Dans Gorgonzola sauce and I was one happy girl! The taste and flavors and unbelievable! I’ve eaten at Berns, Charlie’s, Ruth Chris and other steak houses and this is by far the best in my experience. The wait to get in begins before the restaurant opens we arrived about 10 minutes early and were about number 13-16 in line . We invited in at 5pm on the dot and sat promptly. Our waiter was Ryan, he is a very good waiter . Friendly, professional and prompt. 10/10 Pictured is my filet, our truffle fries and our son’s chicken.

Came here for our last night of our mini vacation. Been here before and it’s excellent food as always! One of the few steakhouses I’ll trust with making rare steak. Definitely recommend having the wines and apps if you’re hungry. Parking can get limited if it’s busy. The service was ok, it seemed we disappointed the waiter by not ordering wine and outside our entree. No reservation was required and we were seated quickly since it was a weeknight.

1200 Chophouse is easily one of the best steakhouse experiences in Florida…no exaggeration. Small space, no reservations, and a line out the door…which tells you everything. This place prioritizes quality over volume, and it shows the moment your food hits the table. The steak is the star…perfectly seared with a deep, flavorful crust and a buttery, juicy center. Seasoning is spot on…nothing overdone, just clean, confident execution. The shrimp and lobster are just as impressive, and the sides keep it classic and satisfying without trying to reinvent the wheel. Service is efficient and focused, and the whole experience feels intentional…like everyone there knows they’re about to have a great meal. Get there early, be ready to wait, and trust me…it’s absolutely worth it. 🤌🏾
