727 Day Weekend IS BACK!

Celebration bigger than ever with more than 100 deals & community events & a specially designed collectible Chad Mize-designed t-shirt

ST. PETE-CLEARWATER, Fla. (July 9, 2025) – July 27, known locally as 727 Day in recognition of Pinellas County’s area code, is back for another celebration of appreciation for the local community. In response to last year’s popularity, Visit St. Pete-Clearwater and Tourism and Hospitality partners countywide have teamed up once again to celebrate the residents that make St. Pete-Clearwater – home to America’s Favorite Beaches – such a welcoming place for more than 15 million visitors each year. The starting point for the celebration is 727Day.com, where locals will find more than 100 deals, along with ways to celebrate the 727 in style and valuable information about the important impact tourism has on our local community.

More than 100 businesses have signed up to offer special deals as a token of gratitude for the warm hospitality our residents extend to visitors throughout the year. Tourism and Hospitality businesses collectively employ 100,000+ residents and play a vital role to our community’s economy, driving billions of dollars in annual economic impact, making tourism a cornerstone of our vibrant community.

Visit St. Pete-Clearwater partnered with local artist Chad Mize to create a limited-run 727 exclusive t-shirt (pictured here) to promote the value of tourism to Pinellas County residents. Featuring Chad Mize’s distinctive and recognizable talent and style, the exclusive 727 t-shirts visually collect all the unique attributes that can only be found in St. Pete-Clearwater. Pinellas County residents can get their own 727 t-shirt:

  • At the 12 p.m. – Clearwater Threshers Home Game - BayCare Ballpark giving away shirts to the first 727 fans in attendance.
  • At the St. Pete Pier 727 Day Celebration which wraps up with a drone show over Tampa Bay. Find the VisitSPC booth to grab your shirt, while supplies last.
  • Mobile Passport: Locals con unlock their 727 Day deals as well as checking in at participating establishments through the 727 Day Mobile Passport, available at 727Day.com. Mobile passport check ins at one or more participating spots on July 26 and 27 earn points that can be redeemed for a free Chad Mize t-shirt or a special 8.5×10 commemorative print.
