Welcome or Kalos Oriste to the 2nd Annual Greek Food Festival, hosted by Saints, Raphael, Nicholas and Irene at Greek Orthodox Church in Palm Harbor, FL. The parish is the newest in the St. Pete/Clearwater area, small, but dynamic enough to undertake this community event. With a motivation to share our culture and background with the community, the parish has prepared a Food Festival on a small scale, but as the parish grows, so will the festival.

We are especially proud of the Byzantine Church that resurrected from a fire that destroyed the house that was used as a church. Rising, however, from the rubble of the remains of the fire is a unique church: a piece of Greece transported from a village to Palm Harbor. The church has been constructed according to the specifications of a church built in Greece, using Greek artisans and construction workers. Every aspect of the Church had its beginning in Greece and even the marble is from the quarry from which the marble was taken to build the Parthenon.

Visit the Church and take the tour, watch the youth dance groups and thanks to Hellas Dancers from Holy Trinity in Clearwater for performing along with the young dancers of this parish, listen and dance to the music of the band “Ellines” with traditional and folk songs with them famous singer from Athens and New York, Sterios Floratos and enjoy the delicious food and pastry. During your visit at the festival, you will be transported to a village in Greece! We appreciate, value and thank you for your support.
