Welcome to MarineQuest, the annual open house of the FWC Fish and Wildlife Research Institute! Since 1995, MarineQuest has welcomed thousands of people through our doors to learn more about Florida’s fish, wildlife, and their habitats, and the cutting-edge research that Institute scientists are leading all around the state. MarineQuest is our chance to share our research with you – our passion, focus, and dedication to our mission to conduct collaborative research and monitoring to provide timely information and guidance to protect, conserve, and manage Florida’s fish and wildlife resources.
MarineQuest will be held from 10:00am - 4:00pm on Saturday, Feb. 7 at the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission’s (FWC) Fish and Wildlife Research Institute in downtown St. Petersburg. The event takes place in conjunction with the St. Petersburg Science Festival.
Visitors may park downtown at the SouthCore Parking Garage (101 First Ave. S.). A free shuttle will run between the garage and the event entrance. Limited disabled parking is available on First St. S. between Sixth Ave. S. and Eighth Ave. S.
