About Nicole Stott: She is a NASA astronaut with two spaceflights and 104 days in space, a NASA aquanaut, engineer, artist, and author of Back to Earth. She was the 10th woman to perform a spacewalk, the first to paint a watercolor in space, and a key contributor to International Space Station missions. Today, she blends science, art, and global cooperation to inspire action for Earth—drawing on lessons learned in the most extreme environments known to humanity.
