Tourism Funding Opportunities
Learn about the two funding programs that are investments in the future of Pinellas County.
Pinellas County's 6% Bed Tax allows the county to invest in tourism marketing and provides for additional funding opportunities so that the destination's tourism economy and workforce can grow.
Two of those programs are the Capital Projects Funding Program, which provides funding to brick and mortar projects that enhance tourism, and the Event Funding Program, which provides funding for major local events.
The Capital Projects Funding Program funding cycle is currently every other year, with applications being accepted and reviewed in 2024. Event Funding is an annual program with applications due every spring.
