Pinellas County Tourist Development Council
The Pinellas County Tourism Development Council (TDC) is responsible for overseeing tourism promotion efforts in the St. Pete-Clearwater area. Together with Visit St. Pete-Clearwater, the TDC makes recommendations to the Pinellas County Board of County Commissioners on matters related to the Tourist Development Tax.
All TDC meetings are open to the public, and you may either attend in person, or watch a live broadcast while a meeting is taking place.
In addition, recordings of each meeting are available on the Pinellas County Tourist Development Council's YouTube channel.

As an advisory board to the Board of County Commissioners, the Pinellas County Tourist Development Council is tasked as follows:
To meet no less than once a quarter to discuss tourism promotion-related matters.
To make recommendations to the BCC related to:
- The use and expenditures of Tourist Development Tax revenues;
- Specific Pinellas County tourism funding programs, such as Elite Events and Capital Projects Funding and other programs as directed by the BCC
- Review of Visit St. Pete-Clearwater's budget and programs
- Review of Pinellas County's Tourist Development Plan
