• Meetings and Conferences Sales Representative

  • ​​​​​​​Pinellas County’s Convention and Visitors Bureau (CVB), dba “Visit St. Pete Clearwater,” is seeking an experienced sales manager with duties to sell the destination for the purpose of increasing meetings and conference sales within the County. This individual will represent the County at industry events, trade shows, and conferences throughout the U.S. The person in this position provides support to assigned regional and state accounts and assists the sales team with developing ideas that improve the sales goals of the Meetings and Conferences Department. Work is performed under the general supervision of the department director with considerable latitude for independent judgment and initiative. 

• VisitSPC Summer Intern

  • ​​​​​​​This position will assist the Convention and Visitors Bureau, also known as Visit St. Pete-Clearwater (VisitSPC), for one semester (up to twelve weeks) as a student intern of an educational institution. Work performed will vary upon assignment and may involve multiple VisitSPC departments during the twelve-week period. Duties include, but are not limited to research, proofreading copy, website and customer relationship management (CRM) database updates, assistance with planning and implementing brand activations, website content creation, social media assistance, and more. Work is performed under the guidance of a VisitSPC manager and may involve work in evenings or weekends, as needed, but will not exceed 30 hours per week. Professionalism and reliability are critical to a student’s success in VisitSPC’s Internship Program.
