Rock The Block

Treasure Island has taken a starring role in HGTV’s Rock the Block. Viewers watch stylish home renovations against the beautiful backdrop of the St. Pete-Clearwater destination. The series is also available to stream on Max®.
Rock the Block, HGTV’s home renovation competition mega hit, in its fifth season featured waterfront homes in Treasure Island. The seven-episode season is hosted by popular carpenter, craftsman, and design expert Ty Pennington.

This season’s renovations will mark the series’ first-ever waterfront renovation. Season 5 competitors include renovation aces Bryan and Sarah Baeumler; home renovation visionaries and partners Keith Bynum and Evan Thomas; dynamic twin sisters and real estate and design experts Lyndsay Lamb and Leslie Davis; and billion-dollar real estate broker and house-flipping expert Page Turner and contractor extraordinaire Mitch Glew. Each team will have just six weeks and a budget of $250,000 to renovate attached waterfront homes, each featuring a pool, boat dock and dazzling views of Boca Ciega Bay, and transform them into luxurious homes that reflect their signature vision and stunning design style.
Rock The Block Season 5 delivered a standout performance for HGTV, attracting 13.6 million total viewers. Other popular HGTV shows that have filmed in the St. Pete-Clearwater destination include 100-Day Dream Home, Beachfront Bargain Hunt, Beachfront Bargain Hunt: Renovation, House Hunters, House Hunters: All-Stars, and House Hunters International. In Summer 2023, new spin-off 100-Day Dream Home: Beachfront Hotel kicked off its season with a complete renovation of the Sunburst Inn in beautiful Indian Shores turning the vintage beachside hotel into a dream destination.
