Local Film Festivals

Calling all cinephiles: St. Pete-Clearwater is home to its fair share of film festivals that span a variety of genres. Of the bunch, the Gasparilla International Film Festival is one of the most famous, drawing in industry professionals and 100,000 viewers each year.

Then, there are the more niche film festivals in town. The Eckerd College Environmental Film Festival brings light to nature and sustainability issues, the Tampa Bay Jewish Film Festival puts a spotlight on Jewish culture and history, and the Tampa Bay International Gay And Lesbian Film Festival garners support from the LGBTQ+ community.
